ParenTalk

ParenTalk is a series of periodic newsletters providing educational information for new parents.  ParenTalk provides parents with information on their child’s developmental stages, social and emotional growth and advice on how to deal with everyday issues such as discipline and child care.  This newsletter is provided free of charge through age 5 of the child.  ParenTalk is provided through a partnership with The Birthing Center at the Memorial Hospital at Easton, the Mid-Shore Perinatal Advisory Council (MPAC) and the Mental Health Association in Talbot County (MHATC). If you would like to receive ParenTalk, contact Susan Sherman at 410-822-0444 or email at ssherman@mhamdes.org. Please include your name, address, child’s name and date of birth so that the appropriate issue can be sent.

Also Available: Spanish ParenTalk

Spanish ParenTalk provides the same information as the English version, through age 2 of the child.  Spanish ParenTalk is made available through health departments, departments of social services, family support centers in Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne’s, and Talbot Counties or by contacting Susan Sherman at 410-822-0444.  If your organization is interested in providing Spanish ParenTalk, please send an email to ssherman@mhamdes.org with your organization’s name, address, phone and amount requested.  Funding for this program is provided by the Mid-Shore Perinatal Advisory Council (MPAC).
